The purpose of this study is to examine whether psychophysiological test is effective on obtaining information of the risk behaviors associated with sexual crimes. The study was conducted on 21 men who was convicted as sexual offences who are currently under electronic supervision due to sex crimes. In order to compare the number of information related to the risk behavior, first probation officer was asked to fill in offenders’ risky behavior checklist and identified the information they know. Next, before announcing psychophysio-logical test, the offenders prepared their own checklist. Finally, after announcing psychophysio-logical test, the subjects informed additional information to the checklist which was not reported before. The number of information reported after the psychophysio-logcial test was notified and the number of information found through the examination was added. The result was found no significant difference between the number of information identified by probation officer and the number of information reported by offenders prior to notification of the psychophysio- logical test. However, it was shown that the number of information reported by offenders after the notification of the examination was significantly higher than the others. Finally, it was found that all offenders who took psychophysiological test were ‘no deception indicated’. In other words, all further reports after the notification of psychophysio-logical test were true. In this regard, the implications and limitations of this study were discussed.
