학교폭력 가해보호관찰 청소년의 재범예방을 위한 프로그램의 효과 <공감능력 향상 프로그램을 중심으로>
본 연구는 최근 심각해지고 있는 학교폭력 가해 보호관찰 청소년을 대상으로 공감능력 향상 프로그램을 적용시켜보고, 그들의 공격성과 정서인식능력의 변화를 살펴보는 것이다. 폭력의 가해자들이 보이는 속성 중 대표적인 것으로 공감능력의 결여를 들 수 있는데, 본 연구에서는 공감능력향상에 초점을 맞추어 프로그램을 진행하였다. 서울동부보호관찰소에서 보호관찰을 받는 학교폭력 가해청소년 19명을 각각 실험집단과 통제집단에 선정하였고, 이들을 대상으로 공격성과 정서인식능력 사전․사후검사, 관찰기록, 재범추적여부를 확인하여 프로그램의 효과성을 확인하였다. 공격성과 사전․사후검사 결과에서는 유의미한 결과가 나타나지 않았지만, 관찰기록에서 프로그램 이후 참가자들의 변화를 볼 수 있었다. 또한 재범추적에서 실험집단에서보다 통제집단에서의 재범율이 높게 나타났다. 향후 본 연구의 의의와 한계점 및 후속연구를 위한 제한점이 논의되었다.
The effectiveness of prevention program of recidivism for school violence on juvenile probation
The purpose of this study is to examine the changes of aggression and emotional recognition after empathy development training program for school violence on juvenile probation. One of the typical features of violence offenders is deficiency of empathy. This study was focusing on the improvement of empathy. Nineteen participants who had school violence on juvenile probation were randomly assigned into two groups, 9 participants in the treatment group and 10 participants in the treatment group. The treatment group was treated with the group counseling program for developing empathy. Participants were asked to complete a questionnaire including scales such as Emotional Recognition Test and BDHI, before and after the program. To verify effectiveness the program, we analysed the emotional recognition and aggression test, self-reports and follow-up study of recidivism after the program. There was not significant change of emotional recognition and aggression test, but there was significant change of their attitude on self-reports. Also, it was found that the recidivism ratio of the control group was higher than treatment group after the program. Finally, the implications of this study and suggestions for future study were also discussed.
